The Kings Canyon IMAC is coming up soon and will be held at the Tokay RC Flyers Field on September 26–27. Please take a moment to sign up on the FlyIMAC website through the IMAC Regions link: IMAC Early registration really helps us plan for food, awards, scorekeeping, and everything else needed to run a smooth event. The website still lists Clovis, but the contest is at our field — that update should be reflected online shortly. And remember, if you’re new to IMAC, your first Basic contest is FREE.
We’ve recently treated the field for mosquitoes. While we can’t stop the ones that blow in from the alfalfa field to the west, we haven’t seen many in the last few days. Even so, it’s smart to bring insect repellent with DEET.
Cooler fall weather is on the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
