Due to the current height of the corn, and the latest estimate on when it might be harvested, the annual night fly is tentatively rescheduled for Saturday the 30th. This could change again depending on when the corn is actually cut down. Flying in the dark above 12 foot high dry corn sounds like a recipe for disaster. Plus, our planes and lipo batteries are not healthy for the harvester. Better to play it safe.
Additionally, the annual Turkey Shoot has been set for November 13th immediately following the club meeting.
Both of these events are updated on the club website calendar.
Lastly, November is the month that we nominate board members for the new year. Please be thinking about who you might want to nominate for the critical positions that keep our club running smoothly for all to enjoy.
See you at the field!
