I. Call to order:   10:08   Seven members present and one late comer.

III. Visitors and new members

IV. Officer reports

President:  Mervin Ory   In the absence of the President and the Vice President, Dennis Campbell was asked to chair the meeting.  Thanks Dennis for a job well done.    The reason for the low turnout and all the missing members was the fact that Gold Country Club, in Ione, scheduled their “swap meet” for that day.  As Mervin is packing up to move to Louisiana, he wanted one last chance to lighten his load and of course half the TRCM club wanted to get in on the act.

     Vice President:   Donald Lloyd     Absent

Secretary:  Al Doucette   Present and taking notes.

Treasurer:  Greg Hennifer      Brought us up to date on membership and financial solvency.  We have 73 paid up members and we made $312.00 on the IMAC contest.  He also gave us some news about being invited back to the Grape Festival. For those of you who don’t know, for many years the members of the club brought their aircraft and put them on display.  We have also provided small balsa airplanes for the youngsters, as well as a simulator to play with.  Since I had not heard anything from I him since the meeting, I contacted him and he said, our invitation will be put off until next year, as there needs to be more time to firm up the plans.

Field marshall:   Randy L. and Anthony G.      Both Absent

      Safety coordinator:  Richard Arceo     Absent

      Webmaster:  Neil Gates     Absent

       V.  Old Business

VI. New Business    Report on IMAC event   Had expected Mark to give a report, but he was absent too.   Don asked if the barriers across the runway were neccesary.  After a brief discussion, it was decided that the barriers are neccesary to keep the sport flyers from mistaking our runway for an airport.    Jeff, asked if anybody wanted to build a 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup.  No takers

VII.  Show and tell:

VIII.  Awards:

   Name that Plane:

Ace:  Nominations:  Mervin for always being there to help anybody who needs help with almost anything.

    Oops award: Nominations    Dave Miller

Adjourn & raffle   Dennis thought we should have the the raffle, even though there weren’t many attendees.  Nobody won the grand prize, so it’s still in the mix.
