This is a bitter-sweet time, as Mervin and Diane prepare to depart California on their new adventure. Bitter because we will miss their friendship, involvement and commitment to the club and our members. Sweet because Mervin has worked hard for many years to achieve this retirement moment, and the chance to move back to his home state, Louisiana. They will both be missed.
Please join us on Monday the 22nd of August for a BBQ and fun-fly at the field. We’ll kick things off officially at 10am. Bring anything you want to fly (no turbines currently). Hope to see you there!
Heh Mr. Mervin, I am missing you and the good times we had at Tokay. Hope you give us your contact information at your new place in the South.
