- Treasurer Bob Kellar- encouraged raffle ticket purchases and reminded group about using Friends and Family while paying dues using PayPal.
- Field Marshal-Randy Laney and Anthony Green-There is a need to paint the wooden framework of the shade structure early next year. To be planned for the Spring. Runway is settled nicely but there are a few tears due to prop strikes proposed use of Flex Seal Tape as needed in the future. Purchase as needed. Painting of the X’s at the ends of the runway soon but need at least one more good rain storm to settle the dust below the fabric.
- Safety Coordinator-Nick Clayton- No problems or close calls, reminded everyone to fly SAFELY.
- Webmaster –Neil Gates-Web site calendar is not working and will be fixed soon. All e-mails are on the web site and these are the official messages from the administration not the info on the Chat Group.
- Old Business: Container needs to be cleaned out and removed. To be scheduled in the future
- New Business:
- Mark Huntley gave the 2025 IMAC dates, June 7-8 and Sept 6-7. The group voted unanimously for approval.
- Proposal to grant free yearly dues to the AMA mandated club officers. Discussed and voted to adopt this proposal. President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
- Proposal to pay the Field Marshal (and any assistants) a total of $100 per month on a yearly basis. This may require a rise in annual dues to $75. To be discussed and members notified for voting next month to meet bylaw requirements.
- Discussed possible dues discount for volunteers who work on club projects. See above
- Nominations are due this month. Mark Huntley-President, Neil Gates-Vice President, Secretary-need to verify if Al Ducett is willing to serve, Robert Kellar-Treasurer, Nick Clayton-Safety Officer, Randy Laney and Anthony Green- Field Marshal, have all agreed to their nominations. Voting at December meeting.
- Annual TURKEY SHOOT (Balloon Burst) is scheduled for Nov 16 with a weather date for 11/23. Randy Laney is coordinating the event. Please come and support your club and have a great time with your member/friends.
- Show and Tell: Alan Jones displayed is Flex-Inovations Twin Otter with differential throttle, reverse prop and other features. It flies slow or fast and does maneuvers no Twin Otter has ever done. Neil Gates and Thomas Ford displayed a High Amp battery discharger. Able to dissipate up to 25 amps and will stop at the storage voltage for Lipo’s.
Ace Award: Randy Laney for cooking for Night Fly/Pot Luck. Food was great and Scott scored take-home. Oops Trophy-Thomas Ford for off runway excursion at Imac Kings Canyon. Unanimous vote. Meeting adjourned by Mark Huntley and Raffle started.
