The new runway has been installed! With our contractor and outstanding support from our club members, we were able to accomplish the installation in just one day! Thanks to all the club members that came out to help as you all made this happen! The new runway will remain CLOSED as the new material needs to settle into place and tighten up with the help of the afternoon sun. This should only take a day or two, maybe longer depending if the weather remains warm and sunny. I will send out another email once we verify everything is ready. As always, we appreciate you patience. Note that the new 750’x60′ runway is smooth and level from one end to the other. Same size as before. Looking forward to flying with everyone soon and we will set aside a day to celebrate this awesome accomplishment at a later date.
