Pattern Club Day program at TRCM

Mark your calendar for Sunday, February 18th at 10:00 am

Hello Everyone, the NSRCA members in your area are thrilled to
be able to host our Club Day program at your field.
We would like to show you our planes and sequences that we fly
in competition and offer some fun coaching and instruction to
help anyone who is interested in flying sequence maneuvers with
any airplane. We will also try to have a high level F3A model
available for buddy box flights.
We will discuss the following topics and do some flying:
The BOX
How to call for someone
Basic Aresti language
Basic rules of Club and Sportsman class
Brief overview of FlightCoach, a GPS flight tracker for F3A and
IMAC style flying
Attached you will find 3 sequences. Club class, EDF and Classic.
Club class is perfect if you’ve never flown an aerobatics
competition. It’s open to any AMA-legal airplane. An airplane
that will loop and roll is all that’s necessary. Examples include
the Kaos, Stiks, Cubs, Taylorcraft, Apprentice, and T-34. While
the sequence does include a
take-off, if you have a glider or other hand-launch airplane (e.g.
E-Flight Conscendo), we will accommodate that, too.

Interested in R/C Aerobatics?
This is the place!
Come join us for a day of flying
and experience precision
aerobatics with any airplane.
EDF features any of the very popular EDF jets now available. For
now, there are no limitations on size or battery cell count. These
airplanes are generally fast and a bit harder to fly, but make for a
very fun and challenging platform for aerobatics.
Classic pattern will be the most advanced class, but still doesn’t
require any fancy equipment or complex maneuvers. We will use
a sequence of maneuvers used at full classic pattern contests.
You will find the basic flight sequences attached to this email and
you can also find them at the attached link.

Review the sequences and practice at your field or on the sim
and we will spend some time reviewing the maneuvers and do
some practice flights.
We look forward to seeing you at the field for a day of Pattern
Flying and shop talk!
