I. Call to order: 10:05 20 members present
II. Announcements from the floor: Please contact Dick Wareham to purchase “Stinkin Badges”. Dick has permission to give the 7 badges to the first to ask for them.
III. Visitors and new members We had one new member, Thomas Ford. We voted him in, at the beginning of the meeting. Welcome Thomas. We had three visitors, Rosemary, Amelia and Ruth Anne.
IV. Officer reports

Secretary: Al Doucette Silent Auction for the Super Tigre 34 engine. New 2024 Calendars. There were no takers for the silent auction. I guess, I’ll keep trying, until it goes to a new owner.
Treasurer: Mitch Biddle We have enough money to purchase our new runway material and we have 77 paid members.
Field marshall: Randy L. Going to check on the runway material. Anthony G. is well enough (after back surgery) to help with the field maintenance. Anyone else who would like to help would be readily welcomed
Safety coordinator: Richard Arceo, Not present
Webmaster: Neil Gates Not present
V. Old Business: Turkey Shoot after meeting, today
VI. New Business: In accordance with the by-laws, nomination for officers is in effect. Mark will accept nominations, on the website, for voting at the next meeting. Bob K. has volunteered to take over the job as Treasurer and Al D. has volunteered to stay on as Secretary. Randy L. will continue as Field Marshall, with the help of Anthony G. Nick C. has volunteered to take over as Safety officer, in the absence of Rich. The windsock does not function properly and needs to be replaced. Bob K. moved that that be taken care of, Nick seconded. Mitch B. stated that the porta potty needs to be replaced. The wind has broken the door. He has been in conact with the service and they are going to set up a time to deliver another one.
VII. Show and tell: Mark showed off his new little Foamy “Charger”, which he got built, just in time for the “Turkey Shoot”. Donald L. related how exciting it is to try to take off, with jets, against the wind, on the bumpy runway.
VIII. Awards:
Name that Plane: None, but Mark says he is going to bring it back.
Ace: Nominations: Randy L. for his work hosting the Night Flying and doing the cooking. Mitch B.( I missed the subject of his nomination), but he lost to Randy 13 to 11,
Oops award: Nominations Allen K, for showing how to cartwheel an airplane, on takeoff.

Balloon bust competition for a gift card for Thanksgiving Dinner. Results below.
There were 11 pilots registered: Nick C. ,Allen K., Mark H., Jacob L., Donald L., Randy L., Bob K., Alan J., Scott N., Jeff G., and Thomas F.
They flew two rounds with some very exciting moments, with a couple crashes, landing gear removal, unplanned landings, touch and goes, etc.
And the winners were: First, Jacob L. with 9 points, Mark H. 2nd with 8 points, 3rd was Nick C. with 6 points, Donald L. and Scott N. were tired for 4th & 5th with 5 points and Alan J. came in 6th with 3 points. Randy, had airplane problems on the first round, was scratched, as was Bob K. after he had a bad landing on the first go around. One plane was hand launched, after he removed his landing gear. Thomas F. had problems from the git go and was scratched. Congratulations to the winners and thanks for an exciting “Turkey Shoot”.
