V. Old Business Discussion about the new runway, the purchase of the new chairs and at the end of the meeting, there will be a “missing man formation” fly-over, by some of Greg’s friends and a memorial for the three Fallen Aces, that have flown off into the heavens, with installation of their plagues on the fence, followed by lunch and a fun fly.
There was some discusion about the runway replacement. It was decided that we would order the material, this winter and set up a date next spring to redo the runway. The runway will be graded and leveled, before the new material is put down. We will be using stakes instead of staples. It was suggested that we apply for an AMA grant to help pay for the runway material.

Nancy Hennifer was there with her Quartet and sang a couple songs, The flyover was right on schedule, There were only three airplanes as one had a mechanical problem, but they did a great job with smoke trailing, one of them broke away, to make a “missing man” formation, Then they all did some low passes over the runway. Greg was a member of the Lodi Model A club and a group showed up with their cars. Here is a list of A owners, Don Schroeder, Bob Lewellen and Irene, Marlin and Becky Traichel, Jim and Diane Jewell, Larry Ripley, Claire Greenwood,Wayne and Lori Makabe, Tony and Susie Gardener, Chuck and Stephanie Thurman, Dani Mosuelli, Scott and Debra Kohler, Berlene Horn, Robert and Rhonda Galli, Jack Rotolo.
