Tokay Radio Control Modelers
Welcome! Our club is dedicated to the hobby of radio controlled model aviation. We are based in Lodi, California which is 40 miles south of Sacramento. We are an AMA Chartered club, #1251, founded in 1970.
Our members fly a wide range of RC aircraft ranging from small park flyers and electric powered, to giant scale aerobatic and scale planes. We have RC instructors willing to teach you how to fly your RC aircraft, and members who can answer all your RC questions. We put on many events throughout the year including Fun Flys, Giant Scale Meets, Pylon Racing, IMAC Contests and social gatherings. We provide a monthly newsletter the HEADWIND available from our Newsletter page. We are a friendly club who believes that RC flying should be enjoyable!

Lodi Grape Festival Booth
TRCM Booth at the Lodi Grape Festival
Tokay Radio Control Modelers will again have a booth at the Lodi Grape Festival, September 17th to 20th! Location: Lodi Grape Festival Grounds, 413 East Lockeford Street, Lodi, CA. Hours: Thursday 4 to 9pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Noon to 9pm. We will have a 15' x 60' booth located in Cabernet Hall.
This is the 5th time since 1972 that TRCM has had a booth at the Lodi Grape Festival and the 4th year in a row. It's an excellent opportunity for us to meet our local community neighbors and tell them who we are, what we do, what we can provide, and spread the excitement of our hobby. Last years event was a lot of fun and a huge success, growing our membership by 10%.
This year in addition to our displaying aircraft and engines, we are having a "Build your Plane" booth where we will provide free balsa gliders to children and help them assemble and decorate with rubber stamps and stickers. TRCM is very fortunate to have this event sponsored by Clark Pest who graciously is paying all costs and providing helpers.
TRCM needs volunteers to staff this event! Hal Singer will be sending out work schedules and we are looking for everyone to volunteer some of their time working our booth and talking about our RC hobby to fair visitors. TRCM booth workers who volunteer for at least two shifts will receive an admission badge which gets you free entry every day during the Grape Festival. It's a lot of fun!
